Starting or Joining A Community

Drive collective action in your community by starting or joining a local Balance Project Community!

Join our next virtual info session on April 16th!

How Communities Are Structured:

Our communities are town-centered with efforts focused on gaining alignment and driving change in your immediate local schools and community. We believe this is the most effective way to drive actionable change “on the ground”.

Where there are several geographically aligned towns, we are also making connections in regional areas to drive synergies and efficiencies where possible (e.g. collaborating and co-hosting events, developing like-minded programs and approaches that meet common needs, etc).

Leading A Community:

Each geographical area has a Lead and a core team. We have an established approach, process, tools, content and support for Leads to adopt and customize for each community. We also offer ongoing support, training and guidance as you navigate, including connecting you to other. Leads, key opinion leaders and experts in the space.

Join A Community

Our model allows for involvement regardless of how much time you’re able to give - see the image on the right for a brief overview. Leads can provide more detail on each role.
